I have a 2.0 slx -92 manual and have a problem with my throttle, or if it should be that way... When i've gone up to around 2-3000 rpm and ill let go of the throttle when shifting, the engine doesnt rev down for like, 1,5 seconds... Its not always like that but when i put pressure on the car it behaves like that.... is this common? or is it something i should check up? in that case what? And i know its not the wire... so what could it be?

my primera 2.0 1992 does the same,if i put it in neutral it drops to normal, theres a neutral switch on the side of the gearbox someone told me about, but have not tested it yet, there is also a sensor for the idle on the power steering side, and also the usual things like throttle switch and aux air valve that needs a clean now and again, primera manual holds a lot of info on these items.post if you sort it,hope this helps.

Most likely you both have singal point fuel injection. (sr20di)
if this is the case than there is not alot you can do about it. nissan did release a customer infomation bulletin for this complaint. go to your local dealer and ask the hiteq to print you off a copy, it will explain why this happens.
on the off chance you have multi fuel injection (sr20de), my first check would be the throttle butterfly. check to make sure it is closing all the way, and if needed clean it with some brake fluid and a old toothbrush. works great.
let us know how you get on

regards
