truck/car rimsanimal66 06-17-2004, 06:55 PM i was wondering what the difference between truck and car rims.... and can you use truck rims on a car? thanx this will help alot Blazing Rice 06-17-2004, 07:35 PM Depends on a lot of factors. Most newer trucks have 6 lug wheels. I can't think of any car besides the Dodge Viper that has that. Most cars will have either 4 or 5 lug wheels. Offset, backspacing and width are all just as important. Front wheel drive cars need a different style wheel than a rear wheel drive or truck would use. Smaller trucks (AKA Chevy S10) has the same bolt pattern for GM F-body cars. I hope I was able to confuse you a bit more. :p animal66 06-17-2004, 07:38 PM dont worry u were.....im lookin for something to fit a 83 chevy caprice drdisque 06-17-2004, 10:29 PM then yes, wheels that would fit your caprice may also fit S10/Sonomas and Jimmy/Blazers. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
