anybody know how much gas the 1997 LT Astro gas tank holds?

I believe that mine holds 25 gallons hope this helps

got a 995 holds 27 gallons but only get 15 miles per gallon i found out at kelly bluebook search that in google

Run it down until the low fuel light turns on and pull into the next gas station and fill up. The low fuel light comes on with around 2 gallons left, add that to the fillup amount and that will tell you how big your tank is.

Or do like my dumb brother did and run it completly dry on the way home from the bar, walk home in the cold, call me to pick him up the next morning with a gas can, put two gallons in to get him to the gas station and loan him the bucks for a fill up. At the current prices it busted my wallet for the better part of a C note.
