[ I have a 1990 Montero that I believe ticks because of a valve lash adjuster. After I replace the adjusters I was wondering if anyone has ever drilled out the oil hole on the rocker arm to let oil flow in more easily. any opinions would be helpful thanks[/COLOR]

If you have the a 4G64 4 cycl, maybe its time for a valve job.

You should have hydraulic valve lifters. Perhaps an oil additive might help. If you have the 4 cyl. Watch for rod bearing problems. They start out as a tick.
