G20 Clutchnelam 01-23-2002, 09:43 PM Is the Sachs OEM replacement Clutch kit any good? How about the Sachs Super Set Clutch Kit? I only have header and intake on my car so far. I have no plan to turbocharge it. My later mods are cat-back, and underdrive pulley. I have heard Sachs is the OEM for Nissan, is that true? Anyone has experience on Sachs? Please let me know. Thanks. NismoPC 02-18-2002, 09:36 AM I am looking for the same type of clutch set-up. Been researching for a while. Here is waht I have found: 1. The SACHS OEM kit "is" the Super Clutch Kit. They are the same thing. 2. Other OEM Suplliers for Japanese automakers are: - Veleo - Exedy (Daikin) - Luk - Paraut (supposedly a re-boxed Exedy kit) ?? 3. Exedy is the worlds largest provider of clutchs for Japanese auto manuafcturers including Nissan/Infiniti. I am going to be purchasing the Exedy #06-057 OEM Clutch Kit. I already installed the AST OEM clutch set on my 91 G20, along with a new clutch cable from Nissan. My impression on it...it's ok. Grabs good, I can chirp through the first three gears, and it operates smoothly so far. I wish I had a lightweight flywheel to go along. Let me know, about the Exedy clutch... vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
