Hi all,

I am new here and was wondering if anybody could help me change the bumper covers (Front and Rear) of my 96 honda accord. Any pics or diagrams would be great if not anything would do.

Thanks in advance!

Best investment you can make is to go an buy a Haynes book for your car. Little projects like that can make life a whole lot easier. $15 will save you alot of aggravation.. there are too many pictures to post and too many bolts to mention.. but it's not that hard at all. Go buy a book.. you'll need again I'm sure.

Just a question here, if you buy a new bumper cover, do you need repaint them with your car's color? If u have to repain it, I guess that will be a lot of work.

True, but I plan to get the whole car painted anyway.

well all i kno is that there are a whole lot of rubber screws in the front. there are also some underneath the headlight that without some injenuity, its almost impossible to take out with the headlights there. i just ripped it out and used a dremel.

for the rear there are i believe 3 in the top middle part, 2 under each taillight, 1 or 2 screws in the wheel well, and two under the car.

installation is just the reverse. but a haynes manual will help you. i didnt it on my own. have fun
