I have having trouble with my gas gage. I ran out of gas and it still had at least aneight of a tank left in it. Also at times it seems that at times I can drive two or three and the gage does not go down. What could be causing this and how do I fix it. Sounds like you have a faulty sending unit or float in your tank. Have those checked out by a mechanic, unless you want to attempt it yourself.
