I would like to gut it with the cat still on the car..is there anyway to patch up a hole in the cat..after im done gutting it? THANKS...by the way..no exhaust shop will take a cat off or gut it around here. matt919 06-15-2004, 06:16 PM the only info i can say is, i patched a hole in the exhaust pipe from the muffler to the motor with stuff called "muffler mender" .. which is a compound/apoxy stuff and it worked fine.. Im not sure how big of a hole you are talking about, or even if you want to use that, just figured i would throw that out jj4465 06-15-2004, 07:49 PM how big of a hole did u have?...any other ideas guys..i was planning on drilling into the cat...and going at the inside as much as i could...and i need a way to patch up the hole! matt919 06-16-2004, 03:32 AM not real big, the clamp/hanger broke off, and took part of the pipe with it.. so about the size of a quarter/half dollar. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
