Otherwise you can drop some money on something like the 76mm (3" is 76.2 mm) TJM Aerial bracket here: http://www.4by4connection.com/bulbarac.html man4ou 07-16-2004, 12:55 PM what kind of lights would u all recomend \ Schludwiller 07-16-2004, 01:35 PM what kind of lights would u all recomend \ Hellas are the lowest I would go and get no complaints from those in our club who use them. On a side note they aren't very deep so many people mount them on their front bumper with a drill and bolts (not needing a brush guard, which you should rip off your truck asap. :D) man4ou 07-20-2004, 01:38 AM waht would u recomend puttin on the roof for long range are the kc daylighters good for that? Schludwiller 07-20-2004, 12:14 PM You should use floods IMO. I have spot rally lights on my ARB, and floods up on the roofrack. It works really well as the floods give me lots of light all around and on the side (almost to the side of my door). The spots illumiate far down the road in front and work well for higher speed road driving as well. man4ou 07-21-2004, 05:35 PM whats the best online store to order lights and who makes those lights?? Schludwiller 07-21-2004, 11:49 PM Not sure if they're the best, but they've got a good selection of IPF's. www.4x4connection.com. IPF lights aren't cheap but they're excellent lights. Here's what I've got. SuperRally lights: $300 http://store5.yimg.com/I/cruiserconnection_1801_4306640 MSR900's: $215 http://store5.yimg.com/I/cruiserconnection_1801_3943381 816 Backup lights: $80 http://store5.yimg.com/I/cruiserconnection_1802_5862483 And these on my VW Camper. JO1's $339 http://store5.yimg.com/I/cruiserconnection_1802_6534065 OffroadX 07-26-2004, 10:09 AM Floods on the roof isn't so hot as I hear, too much light hits the hood etc. and actually fouls up your night vision. Spots on the roof, floods on the bumper. Related Links Participate in thousands of discussions at AutomotiveForums.com! Registration is absolutely free. |
