I'm new with RX7's and I want to know what FD and FC are.

Yeah, I was wondering what the heck those meant when I was new. I didn't wanna ask because I'd feel like a complete dick. Do lotz of searching and researching first before you ask questions..as many people would say..
FC is the another name for the 2nd Gen RX-7 (86-92)
FD- 1993----->

Just only a 2 letter code.

Chassis code. SA22C/FB were the first gens.

FC3S = Second gen coupe
FC3C = Second gen convertible

I don't like convertibles myself.

I'm not a big fan of them myself... although a chic driving an FC convert. would be nice :)

Well an FC and FD come from the VIN numbers, FC and FD. In japan some the first 3RD Gen rx7 have the FC vin number on them but from 93 and on there FD that's why FC and FD are diff. the 2ND gen rx7 are FC, just look at ur vin#.
