turbo manifoldHatrick101 06-13-2004, 09:15 PM Anybody know where I can get a turbo manifold and downpipe for my f23. Looked all over the place but couldn't find one. Any suggestions are appreciated. YellowITR479 06-13-2004, 09:52 PM f23....hmm...i dunno try www.full-race.com GWInquisitor14 06-14-2004, 12:49 AM anyone know anything cheaper than the $1200 at full race that are still pretty good? civickiller 06-14-2004, 04:03 AM full race is the best manifold out there Beyond Imagination 06-14-2004, 11:57 AM anyone know anything cheaper than the $1200 at full race that are still pretty good? www.lovefab.com www.onefabrication.com Reed 06-14-2004, 05:08 PM just make one. you just need a bunch of steel elbows and a welder. you could also make a log type manifold like they have on dodges but those are not as good. Beyond Imagination 06-14-2004, 05:21 PM it's not as easy as it seems. alot of r&d goes into the design of the manifold to have a balanced flow. DeleriousZ 06-14-2004, 07:12 PM i've always wondered how much difference equal length makes over unequal length.. is it really worth paying the extra money or putting in the extra effort when building it? Hatrick101 06-14-2004, 07:56 PM I found a turbo manifold for the f22. Do you think they are pretty much the same thing? civickiller 06-15-2004, 04:44 AM IMO full race and love fab and teh best manifold out there. Beyond Imagination 06-15-2004, 10:20 PM i've always wondered how much difference equal length makes over unequal length.. is it really worth paying the extra money or putting in the extra effort when building it? The runner length of equal length manifolds is made equal so that the exhaust pulses from each cylinder do not interfere with each other as they enter the turbine housing. This makes the most efficient use of the energy in the exhaust gases possible. The results are quicker spool up and better all around performance. How ever there are some disadvantages to tubular manifolds. Because of the equal length primaries the amount of surface area to radiate heat is a lot larger than with a cast manifolds. monee 06-17-2004, 12:57 PM Hey same questions here!! Although I need a turbo manifold to bolt an eclipse/talon turbo onto my F22B1 (Acccord EX sohc VTEC). Second question- After much searching for this complicated, unusual turbo setup, I've had a friend made me my header flange and an acutual flange to bolt up my turbo in hopes of customizing my own turbo manifold to hold up an eclipse/talon turbo onto my 94 accord. Question really is, "Where can I get my manifold custom weld at? Give me some ideas of places that can do that for me... Thanks! GWInquisitor14 06-21-2004, 05:44 PM I know a guy who can make you one for $600 shipped vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
