ok, i took apart my interior a bit today. removed my whole center console. just testing everything out so when i do get my audio console and armrest i can know what im doing a little better.

ok here's the reason for the thread...

i took off the part labelled C. the e-brake part. nifty nothing too exciting under there.

i took off the part with cupholders and shift boot/knob. wierd thing was i could see the ground... normal? seemed odd to me. and just in front of the shifter was some wierd doodads. bunch of plasticy messness with some wires and a smaller black sort of looking thing. any idea what this is? it wasn't connected to anything in that area.. the wires went somewhere in the other direction. i thought maybe it was some electronic thing for the shifter.

*idea* maybe a sensor for 5th gear? my cruise control doesnt work. and the little black sensor looking type thing isnt connected to anything except the bigger plastic piece. as for cruise control i figure it'd have to be in 5th to engage. i dunno though. i didnt take a pic. if no one knows i'll take one when i install my shift knob when it gets here.

i saw my ECU for the first time. wierd looking though. yea today was an explorative day doing nothing while skipping school.. i took apart the interior!!! bah.. im bored

yeah that is the way it is for us Honda people. Cruisin' at 20mph isn't cool with those guys.
