Engine overheat at idle. I have heard that the power steering pump drives the fan and I do have a power steering fluid leak. Does the power steering pump really drive the fan? How hard is it to replace the pump?

The '93 Camry's fan is not driven by the pump, this has electric fans that are controlled by a thermostat. There is a seprate thermostat that controls coolant flow through the engine that may be the culprit.Regardless it is EXTREMELY important not to let the engine overheat.Let us know if you need more info,or are taking it to a shop.
