Can someone tell me more about RS*R Springs? Now they have the following:

Ti2000
RS*R Race
RS*R Down

I want to change my springs and shocks, but I don't have a clue on what I should be choosing. I've read some of the threads in the forum, but can't gain enough knowledge on this matter.

What I want to do to my civic 96 ex, is to make the ride really smooth (not hard) cos girls sat in my car, and they don't wanna sit in it again. It's just too bumpy.

Anybody can suggest what I should be using? My budget is max 700?
And also - can someone tell me about the RS*R springs? I heard they are really good but I don't know what's the difference.

When lowering a car it's best to use aftermarket struts with lowering springs because factory can not handle it correctly. 0-1.5" Koni, KYB, Tokico, Bilstein struts will all work fine, more than 1.5" Koni yellow or Bilstein HD is the way to go. There is always the option of true coilovers that include both struts & springs with adjustable ride height/dampening. Coilovers will be the most expensive option. Matched spring/strut kits are also nice, H&R Cup Kit, Koni, Neuspeed w/ Koni.
For normal springs H&R, Eibach, Neuspeed, Tein is the way to go.

$700 budget. One simple answer, Tein Basic kit. That's about what it costs (you could find cheaper than $700 actually) VERY comfortable ride, and the girls won't complain. ;) I know for a fact because I have Tein SS coilvoers. They are the basics, but add 16-way dampening adjustment (retail for $1000) and even after I swapped out the springs they came with, with stiffer springs, AND run stiffer shock dampening settings, no girl has complained about the ride comfort yet. :)

yeah but the chicks that ride with you may not mind the harsh ride....many realize that youre into cars and thats final. lol
