cant start

How do i start a 1988 camry SV21 car....


Friend lent it to me and now i cant turn the damn thing on.


I put the key in and it wont turn... any ideas?

If the key won't turn in the ignition,(I assume that is the problem),just move the steering wheel a little bit in the opposite direction that the pressure is.The steering wheel interlock has to much pressure on it from the wheels being turned.

On my 89 Camry, I found the key is easier to turn when you lift the key up, then turn. Why? No idea.
