Installing CD player

I have a 1997 VW Golf that does not have a CD player. I would like to remove the existing radio and install a CD player. Can anyone tell me how I can open the dash to get in behind so that I can remove the old and install the new radio.

I hope someone out there knows how to explain this. Thanks in advance
