prove friends wrongstreetracer16 06-09-2004, 09:04 PM hey i really do not know that much about rx7's or rotorary engines but i have heard that you can get 30000 rpm out of a rx7 engine if so is there a website that has dyno proof of some kind thanks streetracer16 06-09-2004, 09:05 PM my friends all say it could not go that high MBTN 06-09-2004, 09:18 PM 30,000RPM's? No it cannot rev that high. I'd say 15k at most. Your friends are correct. flex339 06-10-2004, 12:08 AM no it can't. That would be an F1 racecar engine your talking about. HighwayRacer 06-10-2004, 07:35 PM friends=right, you=dumbass J/K, its a somewhat common perception dayna240sx 06-11-2004, 01:17 AM i have seen 13K... I don't even know of any F1 engines that can wrap to 30K RPM.. You seriously need to do some math about this one.. calculate the force on the e-shaft in a 13B at 30K RPM... moreover.. what apex seal would stay seated at any speed anywhere remotely close.. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
