Whats with the taco?

How come the words "Santa Fe" on the tailgate have a chrome taco next to them? Is it because Santa Fe is in New Mexico and Mexicans eat tacos?

hmmmm Tacos

Okay, that symbol in the tailgate which you think is a taco (funny, but this is the first time anyone has associated it as a taco), is really a sunburst or at least their representation of one. Hyundai seems to like giving a southwestern USA themed name to their suvs, example Santa Fe, Tucson. Since it is a southwestern theme, what better representation of the southwest than the sun, hence a sunburst.
Now while your first part of the question seems funny the second part is questionable. True the city of Santa Fe is in New Mexico, but Mexicans are not the only ones living there nor are they the only ones that eat tacos or mexican food, alot of folks do.

TS out

MMMM, Chrome Tacos, the meal of gear heads. It looks like it has lots of shredded lettuce sticking out.

 Now cut that out, you are making me hungry. :nono:

Speaking of the taco/sunburst symbol and not to get off topic, but it sometimes makes me wonder why and how these companies come up with the symbols in the first place.
