Hey any junkyards that anyone knows of around the north jersey area or close to that, that would have some 90's Z's? the one i went to that was huge only had 80's

good idea.. would you happen to know of any places in jersey or where i can search to find ones that i can possibly get for free? i know its far fetched but some kid on here said he got one for free cause it didnt work and the guy said just take it if you think you can get it going. Now he had money to spend as if he bought it, to send out and get a nice custom TT engine for it for like 7k maybe 10 all together if he wants it 600hp and a new trans to handle it. :eek2: ....I WISH

I have yet to spot a Z32 in a junkyard....

yeah its mostly shops with cars that were left there

I've seen two Zed's (Z32's) in junkyards...

A black Twin Turbo I got a bunch of parts off of.

And a dark Marroon '92 Non-Turbo.

The Twin Turbo was SEVERELY wrecked in the back... The car was almost just a front clip. The powertrain was gone, interior was gone, headlights... Gone. Only things left were what I took. Front fascia, fender (I only took one of them) centerpeice and hood (I didnt take the hood). And Suspension.

The maroon Zed was actually in great condition... Had a blown Slushbox (Automatic transmission), and that was it. They wanted a ridiculous amount though. $5,200, BAH.

There weren't that many Z32s made in relation to other cars and so what is available wrecked is usually snapped up pretty quick.


Speaking of which, having that I have found a new engine for my car, my old one has many parts that are still good or have been recently replaced.

Water pump, oil pump, turbos (.54 housing since the engine was out of an auto but they were replaced 15k ago during an engine rebuild, the stock turbos on the new engine are getting replaced by 530BBs and only have 20k on them) alternator, AC compressor etc and so on...

Some parts might have to wait until I get the new engine in, see what I need before I sell them.

That rules...I'm the same way. I had to go to a junk yard a few times for stuff for my 86 and it was heart breaking to say the least.

i hear that, i spent a long time searching for a 90's z.....left sad. but oh well. there are other Z's in the sea

Sam, PM with a list of stuff you think you need and I can go look the engine over, see if the parts are still useable. Since the block blew, the number 1 cylinder exhaust valves are bent but the rest ($80 a piece from Nissan) are good, the turbos, both sets, plenty of other stuff.

Write me and we go from there.

Acres in Hamiliton, its right near quaker bridge mall. They have about 4 or 5 z32's
They ant that baddly stripped, only one has its engine taken. The others are pretty good. If you get an auto shopper from mid nj then their add will be in their with their phone number and address.

One of the nuts on the bottom of the #1 connecting rod came loose. After that...well, the oil pan looks like a grenade went off inside it and there is a 4 inch wide hole in the side of the block.


After I got the car towed home and jacked it up, hoping to god that it was just a head gasket or something...I pulled the sheeting off the bottom and that single little nut dropped right down on the ground.


Then some other metal chunks did and it started leaking a mix of oil and coolant on my driveway.

It was a bad day.
