92 ford explorermaggieswil 06-08-2004, 10:14 PM it was fine, then the next morning I start it up it runs, I turn on my lights, it dies. & that is what it has done ever since. Starts fine, runs, turn on lights it dies, immediately, I bought a new battery, with no change, any ideas??? BleedDodge 06-09-2004, 03:59 AM You might want to try putting this in the Ford forum, better yet the Explorer forum for better luck... About all we can tell you here is that - "of course it won't start, it's a FORD!" I guess it's not charging. If turning on the lights creates that much of a drag on the charging system, enough to kill it, then something is either fried in the wiring or the alternator is shot or something, I don't know what to tell you... slantsixness 06-09-2004, 07:49 AM LOL Of course I suppose a F^cked Over Rebuilt Durango, might just be an Explorer?!! :) vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
