:uhoh: I assume by nisco's post that you MUST have a catback system in order to have a CAI? I was looking forward to getting a CAI, but now I have to wait and save more for a cat, too? :sly:

nah you dont need a catback system to get a CAI. he's saying without the catalytic converter it would fuck with the ecu readings. so good news to you, go ahead and get the CAI.

I had a problem with my 03 Tiburon about a year ago. I am not sure if it is the same fuse but one of mine kept blowing also.
As it turns out it was the alternator. It seemed to happen soon after the key light ring went out witch was about 5 months after my CAI was installed.
Not sure about the 2000 model but I would have the Alternator checked. Since my alternator has been replaced I have not had any problems.

did you have to extend the o2 sensors to get them in the bungs on the header?
if you did, you might wanna check the solder jobs and electric tape jobs. touching wires will blow the ecu fuse.
