i was in tears tonight. i was parked next to one of my friends sitting in my car talking to him. i look forward and i see this car backing up torwards me. i tried to scream something but nothing came out. he back into my driver's side fendor and dented it all in. i had a million emotions hit me at once. there is about a square foot of damage on my fender, and my fender only. the guy was one of my friends and he said he would buy me a new one and paint it. i will get pictures of it up soon so you can baske in my pool of sadness. she will be fixed in a week or two.

No need to cry mate, you've got cool friends. :D

While he's at it, have him repaint the new car ;)

No, here's the story:

We were sitting at starbucks, getting our morning fix...

And this HUGE ass F350 SuperDuty is backing out of the inverse spot... I start thinking, wonder if he's going to stop (you know Z's sit very low to the ground)

And he didnt see my car at ALL!

So I jump out of the seat and run up to tell him to stop, yelling at the top of my lung's... But thanks to his Cumming's deisel engine, he didnt hear me.

*BAM*

He hit my fender, and broke my front fascia (Stock Non-Turbo, that's why I went TT front end) and broke his exhaust tip met RIGGGHHTT into my headlight centerpeice.

I was expecting him to get out and apolagize at least, a few tire burp's, and cloud of smoke later... I relized he took off.

So a junk yard trip the next day, and I was good to go :D

Found a black TT SEVERELY wrecked in the back, so I popped of what I needed, $300 isnt bad for those parts either.

Haha, my first Z was beaten up... Paint was crappy, interior was ok actually.

It was fun to take to the beach, go road rally'ing etc etc

My new Z is my baby... Although I think im about to sell it, I had an offer I dont think I can turn down. :(

But hey, more money, more money to buy a nicer Z. Haha

I would have taken some insurance money on it, but I only have liability on her. And hit and runs arent covered... O well

$120 a month isnt bad thought, better than close to $300 monthly for full coverage.

wow, I only pay $50 a month for full coverage on my Z. It's an 85 turbo though. Sounds like u may have a less than perfect driving record, or a bad ins. company!! :smokin:

Because, damn, I pay 350 a month for my 240sx and 300ZX. And thats lower than the Z would be alone because of the multiple car discount. And thats with a perfect driving record.


But then again, I am 19 and male. And that is full coverage.


And I don't look that trustworthy.


And I do drive like a coked out mental patient when I want to have some fun (2 am on a deserted road). :)



EDIT: I do know how you feel though, freak. When I got my 240 in high school it was my baby and so one day after doing some brake work I'm backing it out of the driveway. And there is some jackstands sitting around. I see one out by the drivers side front fender and I think I see the universes plan to get me :). Feeling very cocky and focusing on not hitting the the jackstand and scratching my fender...


...I backed into the corner of another car and put a huge, deep ass dent in the passenger rear quarter panel.

Coincidently... about two weeks ago I was sitting in my lovely red Z in the Mall parking-lot waiting for my Fiancee to get out of work.... there was an empty parking-spot right in front of me and this lifted F250 decides he wants to park there. He gets this wise idea that he should back in... So he start's backing in and I'm like $10 bucks this dude is gonna hit me... he is settled in nicely but keeps on inching backward closer to my Z ever so slowly! I finally feel a bump and my car buckles a little.... I start honking and he jumps out and says: "Dude it's okay! I got a back-up sensor!" Well it doesn't work properly! I tell him. His tow hitch kissed my front bumper. He is like all freaking out and says he is sorry... I guess he thought I was gonna beat his ass or key his truck or something. He pulls foward and the dmage is minimal... almost nothing. Just a superficial scuff. God must be on this guys side today 'cus I'm not even that mad. I tell him JUST DON'T RELY ON THAT BACK-UP SENSOR 'CUS IT DOESN'T WORK! Any other day and I would have put a boot so far up his ass he would have tasted the shit covered leather!

My driving record is perfect... Only been pulled over with suspision of vehicle theft... My OWN car... Retard.

Im only 17, so insurance isnt cheap at the moment.

i got an estimate and it is going to be $1k. well, his dad doesn't want to pay that much and is now fighting it saying that i took up more than one parking spots. so now i am pissed because i might have to pay for it myself. shows you who your true friends are. oh yeah, here is a pic of the damage.

they are just replacing the fender, but they are painting it and blending in the hood and door, so that is what is costing so much. i want a profesional do it so it will look its best.

i got my own version of sadness a few minutes ago. some stupid sh*t dinged one of the doors on my truck TWICE sometime earlier today. F-ing bastards. living in apartments suck. die bitches.

I had my 86 2+2 broken into TWICE when I was in west palm...first time they didn't get in but they broke the window, but the second time they got away with my 12" sub and amp as well as screwing my car up hard core. It's the worst feeling ever...I can't imagine something like that happening while I'm THERE. I'd be explosively pissed...especially at what the dad's doing. I feel your pain, my friend. Good luck with everything.

As for the insurance thing, I'll be 21 in about a month and I get REEMED on insurance...have no clue why. Always have. I have a good driving record, too. I was paying ~230/month on my 2+2 for liability ONLY when I was younger. Now, I'm paying ~170 on my beater...in 6 months, I will have paid the insurance ass holes AS MUCH AS I PAID FOR THE CAR. Insurance is a conspiracy.

she goes into the shop next week. come to find out the kid wasn't supposed to be driving the car and it is not even theirs, they were thinking about buying it so that is why they didn't want to go through insurance. they finally agreed to pay out of pocket the 1k. so she is getting fixed next week and i don't have to pay a penny!

Thank God......that would have really sucked.....like salt on an already open wound.
