What are some good exhaust out there for the Z32TT? I was thinking about the HKS Hiper's but what are some other good products?

I got the Borla system. www.stillen.com has pictures but they also have the highest price I've seen for it (1300).

Search the forum a bit there was a thread about this recently, it has alot of links and suggestions on it.

i'm also looking for one and i found HKS hiper to be the cheapes. since all exhaust do the same thing, i dont see my self expending over 800 for an exhaust system. try ebay

Not all exhaust systems are created equal. Performance wise...more or less, yes...they're all pretty much the same...but there are a few other things to consider...looks (you CAN see it, ya know), durability, sound, etc. Go here (http://www.aus300zxclub.com/magazine/en8.jpg) for my recommendation and explanation of why I would choose it over any other. They're all awesome. The particular article that that exhaust piece is out of is about a buildup that they a magazine did to a Z32TT...400rwhp with bolt ons...tis good shit. If you'd care to read the full article or any of the other 293834782723642134 articles I have about the Z32TT, lemme know.

What about the N1 from Apex? I also saw those on some cars, not really on the Z32 but other imports. Maybe the Hipers are the best for the value...

Never heard of it. You have my recommendation.

From what I understand N1, arent that bad. I read an article somewhere about a guy that got a B&B exhaust and when he drove by cars he set the alarms off, so it depends on what B&B you get. I will probably be getting HKS, because HKS rules, and I will dump everything HKS into my car, my car will probably HKS,GReddy, and Border

I heard this exhaust whiile i was driving, on a new corvette and I wanted it for myself. It sounds like a nice strong sound like the Z's have stock, but then it took off and kept it deep like a muscle car but ended up sounding like nascar. It was def what im looking for. i need something not looking like 2 cans, something that is deep and not ricey...any suggestions?

You can't judge what an exhaust will sound like on a Z32 (which have an inherently [sp.] kinda shitty sound to them due to the odd cylinder firing pattern or something like that) by hearing it on a Corvette. COMPLETELY different kind of engine. That article says the B&B has a different kind of cross pipe that corrects that sound.

i definitely knew it wouldnt be the same as the vette but wondering if i could find an exhaust to make my Z sound the way i want by keeping the tough rumble and fade into a semi ricey sound

i have a stillen exhaust on an N/A. It has a rumble in low end but it gets a little ricey up near 4,000 rpms. sounds pretty good if u ask me but that is my opinion. plus i like the big wide mufflers of the stillen on the back. brings a whole new dimension to the back of my Z.
