I was wondering what engines will fit into my '85 CRX si. What is easy/hard? Where should I look for engines? I was thinking about an integra gsr engine but just don't know what to look for yet.

i think the thing to do is use a 86-89 integra motor or a ZC browntop. Both are almost plug and play. Otherwise you run into some trouble with stuff. Not that they've not put every engine in over there i'm saying the most common/easy. I'm not sure yet where to get them. Most people just buy the integra car and rebuild. Others have bought jdm engines online but i've read a lot and customer service seems to be not good unless you are a shop buying a lot of engines from them.

Hasport makes a kit that will allow you to swap in a B series motor.

:screwy: you are one of the few and crazy to go with the b16a into a first gen crx swap. I am another one of those interesting people. I am still working on my swap. I have the engine bolted in and all the mechanicals set up but I am lacking the electricals. Well to help you out you are either going to be spending alot of money or you can take the same creative route as this guy. This link will take you to his site.....

it will need custom mounts (ie. welding) i see people talking about Hasport and how they have mounting kits. not really my area but you may want to check it out to see if they have a kit of this setup but it will cost
