You might have a misfire and/or timing issue. I would first check each plug and wire for consistent spark. If you need the procedure for setting and adjusting timing for a Gen2 Camry, you can get it here: Gen2Camry Reference Board (http://gen2camry.proboards26.com/index.cgi?board=Maintenance&action=display&num=1073653372) Good luck... solidg 06-04-2004, 06:36 AM tuneup and timing calvic 06-04-2004, 04:04 PM I put my money on a plug wire. Either its not on the plug or its tits/up. It would idle but shook and bucked like hell. Took me 45 minutes to drive 20 miles. I got home and eventually found the timing was retarded 40 degrees. The timing belt had lost two teeth and slipped. It took me 3 days to change. Now it takes me 3 hours. Might be your problem. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
