Ok, I'm driving a 99 Integra LS with stock component speakers, and a stock head unit. I was wondering if anyone knew the spec. on my stock speakers and head unit (i.e. their RMS ratings). I only have enough cash right now to replace the cd-player OR the speakers, so I was wondering where I would see the most improvement.

I would be surprised if either was over 5-10 watts RMS

DO the head unit, this usualy improves the quality of the music being sent to the speakers which allows you to turn it up louder before reaching a distortion level.

yeah, i 'd do the HU... the stock speakers aren't the greatest, but with a higher power level pushing cleaner sound, they will perform a lot better then new speakers on the stock HU.

it's also a lot easier at first to change one CD player than 4 speakers
