ZedEx 06-02-2004, 08:38 PM Wow... Nice Zed. VERY imaginative. Prelewd 06-02-2004, 08:56 PM MM.. not everyday you see a convertible TT. BTW: Isn't fourth gear the one that's tricky? freakonaleash1187 06-02-2004, 10:52 PM it isn't everyday you see a convertible tt. very nice. i have only missed a gear once (had my car for over a month and a half) and it was second. i know, weird gear to miss. Prelewd 06-02-2004, 11:25 PM it isn't everyday you see a convertible tt. very nice. i have only missed a gear once (had my car for over a month and a half) and it was second. i know, weird gear to miss. it happens in every car.. that video is an inspiration. i can't wait to get one. StealthZ32 06-03-2004, 02:31 AM where the hell can i get the light up center panel with red 300zx not indigo blue? ZedEx 06-03-2004, 09:12 PM Make your own... -Wes longlivetheZ 06-03-2004, 09:28 PM That Z is a single turbo. It's all custom. Check out Zpower.com (I think...what ever the site that's named in the beginning is).....cooooooool shit. ZedEx 06-03-2004, 09:31 PM Z32power.com Single turbo's Zed's arent what you see everyday... I've never seen one. A single turbo conversion on a VG isnt what you would call an easy task. That car is probably 60g+ in price. But well worth it if you want my opinion. That turbo spool from the Zed is priceless. :D -Wes StealthZ32 06-03-2004, 11:49 PM about making my own, i know it can be done but anyone have any suggestions on an easy way. ive seen a way once but its a pain. it took me long enough to tear apart my tail lights to clear them ZedEx 06-04-2004, 12:55 AM O... Hmmm... Try www.conceptz.com -Wes Broke_as_**** 06-04-2004, 06:26 AM The only thing I didn't get about the vid was why would you have a single turbo? I know 3 liters ain't that big a motor and 1 huge turbo probably better effiency from just a air in-air out viewpoint but just trying to hook all the piping up would negate any advantages that the single turbo setup would give. ZedEx 06-04-2004, 01:14 PM Maybe the unique factor? Single turbo's make sense on sequential set-ups, such as 2JZ GTE, or RB26DETT, or 13B. BUt yea, on VG, it doesnt make too much sense... -Wes longlivetheZ 06-04-2004, 02:59 PM Yea....Z32power.com....check that site out. I think he was just going all out custom. He obviously had a little money to burn. Also, read on the site about him doing 160 and his convertable top desentagrating [sp.]. It's kinda amusing. I thought the RB26DETT was a twin turbo set up.... ZedEx 06-04-2004, 03:04 PM So is 2JZ GTE, and so is 13B. I was saying they are sequential. In other words, one turbine handles low presure, and one handles higher presure. So your band of which the turbo's are actually nominal and spooling, is much lower, and more efficient. With a single turbo set-up, it sneeks up on you. Much more fun to drive :D . -Wes vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
