another problem i had for the last month. whenever i accelerate i usually have to press all the way down on the gas. it doesnt have too much power. sometimes the rpm revs up real hard. now i saw a commercial on tv about this same problem its called engine restorer and lubricant. has anyone had this problem and tried this stuff? does it actually work? thanks

Forget engine restorer and lubricant. If it worked, the oil manufacturers would put it in their oil - at a concentration that worked best.

What car/engine are we talking about?

Tell us what year and engine we're dealing with, and we'll see what we can do to help.

Don't expect much power from that car at that age anyway. Check the air cleaner, plugs (replace these if old), and clean the injectors. Are you getting a check engine light? If so, get the code and tell us. Is it missing, does it vibrate alot and run rougher than it used to recently?

Well, there you go, Brian summed it all up there...exact same thing I was going to say...thanks man...but get back to us and let us know, and we'll go from there.
