Few questions about a 1980 280zxjeelani2005 06-01-2004, 09:37 AM I am considering buying or trading for a 1980 280zxt, but I have a few questions first. It is automatic and has around 150k miles. It has a kaminari wide body kit, its lowered, has rims, new dash, and recarro racing seats. The car has a little bit of rust (on some of the body panals and on the floor board), minor dents, and just needs an overall paint job/body work. my questions are: 1)Will the rust cost too much to fix? Is it a major problem? 2)How much will it cost to convert the car to manual? 3)I forgot to ask him, but would this car have ttops since its a turbo? 4)I know that turbo z's only have 2 seats... would it be possiblle for me to put some seats (maybe matching racing seats) in the back? 5)From the information I provided, how much would you say this car is worth? jeelani2005 06-01-2004, 09:41 AM few more questions: 6)what about an rb or sr swap? does it cost a lot more to do these swaps to a z than to a 240sx? Dont you have to have custom mounts? About how much would it cost to fabricate them? 7)what is the biggest rim size that would fit on a z? 18s? fender rolling? jeelani2005 06-01-2004, 09:41 AM one more question: 8)can someone find me a pic of a wide body kaminary 280zx? vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
