airbag light

I took the air bag off my 95 aspire and the airbag light wont go off . the question im asking is if i cut the two wires that go to the airbag and tie them together will it stop the blinking or is their a fuse somewhere i can take out to stop this infernal blinking? thanks for any info..

No, without the airbag, the a/b light will stay on forever. Try this if you must: Remove the instrument cluster cover and put electrical over the blinking light. If you are careful, it will almost perfectly match the black background of the instruments.

What's the purpose of all this airbag stuff you're doing anyway?
