I have Koni Yellow Shocks and Skunk2 Coil Overs on my 1998 Honda Prelude SR.

Everytime I hit a pothole though, my suspension in the front gives up, and the car drops to the floor.

People are telling me I need a Koni Coilover Ring Adapter? Is this true? How does it work, what does it look like? Where can I get it?

The ring that comes with the shock is currently broken, will I need to get another ring, thanks in advance.

If the ring that came with them is now broken, then yes you need to replace it. Also double check and make sure the struts are all tightly attached to their proper mounting points in case the potholes have loosened up and bolts/nuts.
