Ok my boost gauge is constently sitting at 10 on the vacumn side even when i have my car off is this normal or is my gauge screwed(not running any boost yet)

Do you read also 10 on the vacumm even when driving the car ? if yes then you should double check the connection and make sure you don't have any leak. My autometer boost guage alsways read 1 psi when the car is off

yeah i just checked everything and no leaks i guess ill just have to read it like that.thanks

checka gain for leaks :-p you can spray stuff on the hoses like a little water to see if it bubbles
