ok theres a TII I'm looking at with about 50 miles on a mazda reman'd 13BT, still has warranty, but the guy says "Frequently stalls, but drivable." why the crap does a new reman'd engine from mazda frequently stall? any ideas?

it has a 255lph walbro fuel pump, hks intake, and RB turbo back exhaust so I don't see how that would affect the engine to where it would stall...

oh and he said this "Smog equipment are gone, blocked off with K2RD block off plates, and vac lines relocated."

he said he took the emissions off hoping it would give it a solid idle

he also said he hasn't done anything to it sense removing the emissions to try and fix it, he got a new car and just want to get rid of this one...

any ideas what it could be??

maybe the fuel filter. or the injectors/carb has crap in the nozzle.

if he also cant start it sometimes it prolly is the fuel pump

I think it starts fine, not sure, but I think it just stalls and thats it... I'll check with him though...

so basically just by getting new injectors and fuel pump the problem should be solved?

Is the fuel pressure regulator stock? This one guy did an article on nitrous use on rx-7's and he said that the upgraded fuel pump can be to much for the stock used regulator to hold the right pressure. This would cause a rich condition that could stall the car.

I see... yea I'm pretty sure its stock cuz he never mentioned it being upgraded, any certain one I should buy or are they all about the same?

EDIT: the fuel pump is almost brand new and the injectors just got cleaned and blueprinted so that shouldn't be the problem... seems like it must be the regulator

I am having the same problem with the White 90TII I want to sell Soyo.

As soon as it goes closed loop the fuel pressure drops to 25 PSI and it idles bad and breaks up at higher RPM. Hence the reason I have not contacted you.

This is the last and most nagging issue. We suspect it has something to do with the 1/2 removed emmisions.

I hope to have this problem resolved in about 2 weeks. Your #1 on the waiting list if your still interested. I'll e-mail you in about 2 weeks.

I am going to Altantis for a long overdue 1 week vacation, I have not had a vacation in 4 years!!

I will contact you soon.

WHOA WHOA WHOA WHOA WHOA WHOA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HOLD UP JUST ONE SECOND!!!

I haven't heard from you in like a month!

where have you been man? I figured you were gone and decided to keep the car or already sold it... crazy haha

ok now that I'm done with my shock, yes I'm still interested if we are talking about the same price, or close to it, I'm planning on a TII swap into a non-turbo shell for insurance reasons but this would work great for that too, anyways yea just let me know asap, if I buy it then it'll be worth the wait

You want to ba able to drive it home. I am a man of my word. I am making sure it is in good condition.

It has been driven for 2 weeks straight and developed this fuel problem. We hope to have it sorted out in the next 2 weeks. Sit tight I promise as soon as I get back from Atlantis (June 14th) I will contact you. Sorry!!

you need to chase me down at No Pistons. I am a chronic over there. I forget to check in here.
