My friend swapped a straight 6 cyl datsun z car engine and full datsun z suspsnion into a 85 hyundai pony :D

as long as you got the money you can do it... you also have to keep in mind that the body of a vehicle was designed to handle a certain amount of weight and power... so if you're swapping with something bigger or heavier, you have to compensate in other areas

I sell JDM engines so i get them all the time from Japan. I can give you a receipt if you pay tax sure.Only deal legit stuff not stolen. Its not on a car , its in good cond with harness cut at firewall.

What about shipping to Mtl, or if i go and get it myself ??? I'm curious sorry but i would love to have an SR but don't know if i could totally afford it right now...

anyone know how to get an sr20det smogged??? legal or not???:D

Run the car lean,have a new cat converter,sparl plugs, and im sure you can find gas adatives to ad that will for sure pass the car.

I actually had mine passed by a friend.He works for a smog center and the first time i took my car in after the swap it didn't pass smog.I gave him my car for a day and he added a new Catco coverter and an O2 Sensor.After he added that stuff, my car didn't have problems passing smog or any other emissions testing.But here in California you do need to make sure you know a few people who smog cars, since the regulations for emissions are so much higher in this state.

I've also heard of adding isopyhrol alcohol to ur tank when u have about a 4th of a tank left an just let it run for about 10 mins.Suposedly the alcohol burns cleaner then gas so itwould pass testing.

How much does shipping a SR20det cost? I know it depends on where it is comming from but its destination would be west palm beach,Florida. Any ballpark figures? have no clue how much it is going to cost me to ship my sr20 when I finally get it and Id like to include a shipping price into the budget plan.

Nah not that much. 300 U.S is avg and some are 350 if you are in the boonies :D
