Whats the best exhaust (Not loudest) for performanceMhj63 05-28-2004, 01:17 PM I'm looking to buy exhaust for my 98' civic ex. I want the best performance i can get, but the quieter the better, I really don't wanna wake up my neighboors and have a gay car. Suggestions? MexSiR 05-28-2004, 01:21 PM Any of the popular exhaust systems will do the same job in giving you power. On a stock engine an exhaust wont give you much. madmaxEKhatchB18C5 05-28-2004, 02:15 PM i'm going with Thermal R&D "classic" catback exhaust for my B18C ITR swap...Thermal also makes a "stealth" model of this exhasut which is supposed to be even quiter, but both models are MUCH softer than something like the GReddy Evo catback...and yer not gonna be sacrificing on performance either. i don't know of any other set-ups that will make you avoid having the "angry bumble-bee" sound, but this is one of them...there's some webstie with audio samples of the exhasut, but i can't remember the link right now...good luck GScivic7 05-28-2004, 04:05 PM that website has been down for a long while now. was www.listentomyexhaust.com Apex'i WS and WSII, Greddy Evo, RS*R ExMag are some nice exhausts. I personally like the Apex'i Ace$nyper 05-28-2004, 04:07 PM good linky i'm a fan of the RSR myself the 5zigen is what i use awesome sound look and very well made it is loud though GScivic7 05-28-2004, 04:12 PM it's too bad that the site is down now, it was a good resource for all the newbies KaotiKCamaro5 05-29-2004, 05:13 PM just weld a coffee can on.. who needs an exhaust, an exhaust alone wont do that much anyway jameskersten 05-29-2004, 09:12 PM apexi WS or Gredy evo. both quiet and good flow. and to the domestic guys comment, its not a V8 so complete free flow isnt best. we need backpressure. Beastiek2 05-30-2004, 02:36 PM my invidia sounds great performs fine and i see AF has a deal on them Blitz_Runner 06-01-2004, 08:51 PM whoa, that guys camaro looks like a big long black penis! where do the domestic car makers get their styles anyway! vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
