can i put a monsoon radio out of a newer grand am or grand prix into a 97 grand am that just has a am/fm cassette?

if you hook it all up right you should, long as the DIN is the same. Just gotta get all the wires right. You can hook up practicly any radio as far as i know, just might take different brackets or wireing harnesses.
