I have a 00 Civic SE and the dash light for the windshield washer has come on and decided to never shut off.

I have checked all my fuses, taken out the washer assembly, cleaned it and put it back in but still the light stays on ... Any suggestions? :banghead:

did you fill it with washer fluid? dumb question but you never mentioned it.

does it work? if it doesnt, possible the motor has packed it in.

You can disconnect battery for a few minutes, but you'll have to reset your radio stations.

I'm sure you can just pull out the ECU fuse for few minutes or something like that instead.

There must be a button you must press to reset it then, on integras i heard they're underneath the interior steering wheel cover to reset the maintance light.

So your newer civc might have similar button. i think its a blue or green button.

don't get confused and press the alarm reset button if you have an aftermarket alarm.
