What in the world is the purpose of having this lineup of vehicles?

Mercury is an automotive laughingstock if you ask me . . . what original vehicle currently comes out of that line that is of merit?

For reference I quote this definition:

Mercurial: adj. Liable to sudden unpredictable change; erratic; fickle.

Since they discontuned the Cougar, nothing.

They are all just plush ford clones.

the marauder is badass
and if you send it to kenny brown and get his supercharger it goes up from 302 to 450 hp at the wheels and torque goes up from 318 to 460 lb-ft. if that isnt badass then what is?

Actually, the Sable will be around for a few more years. In addition to the two SUVs and one minivan on the way, there are two sedans coming to compliment the Sable and Grand Marquis.
