eclipse engine question

i have a 1984 mitsubishi mighty max (little red pickup) and i heard that you can swap out its engine for a 4g63 turbo from the 2nd gen eclipses...anyone heard if this is possible or have the mechanical knowhow to tell me if this is possible because if it is...then that would kick much ass

what block is currently in it? i saw it done on MISR1.

couldn't tell ya man, im relatively new to this so i dont have the information that i should have regarding my cars engine, i got the suggestion for an engine swap from another thread and it was something i was planning to do in the future

All I can suggest is search google for things like "mitsubishi mighty max 4g63" and stuff. Check your firewall's information plate for the engine code. Also I believe there is a 'wide' and 'narrow' 4g63 block, which is the only reason I wouldn't assume it's automatically an easy swap. Don't give up though, it's a cool idea.

I think you can. I'm pritty sure i saw one on the Mischief video, it was towords the end.
It looked bad ass, and it was fast as hell.
