Power Door Lockspaulkramer 05-24-2004, 01:02 PM My 2000 Intrigue recently developed a bad habit of intermittently refusing to lock its doors electronically. They always unlock, but only lock about 1/2 of the time. This is slowly getting worse. Has anyone out there had or heard of this problem? Sound like the BCM? paulkramer 11-14-2004, 02:29 AM Nobody has had this problem?? I tried replacing the hazard switch after hearing that was the problem from someone else but either it didn't solve the problem or the new switch went bad too. I am trying to sell this thing and now this problem has resurfaced. illinoiswronski 11-16-2004, 12:21 AM Is it the same for the lock switches in the car as well as the remote controls? paulkramer 11-16-2004, 09:26 AM Yes. Alldatadiy.com lists a troubleshooting algorithm for the car and they indicate that when "always locks, doesn't unlock" to check the 180 circuit - the red and black wires between both front door switches and the BCM. I haven't found a wiring issue so I am thinking that leaves only the BCM. Maybe. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
