i am gonna get a new car, i am choosing from a 4 door 94-96 accord vtec sohc or a 3.2 ltr v6 legend 2 door 91-92

can some one tell me the hp on the 91-92 legend coupes. v6.

how does it compare to the accord 2.2 ltr sohc vtec, and civic d16 engine.

what is the quarter mile and 0-60 (100k) and is it as reliable as the accords and civics. thanks

the hp on a legend 91-92 is 230hp.. it doesnt compare at all haha
the quarter mile time is about 13.8 thats what i ran....from 0-60 6.6's
i think is more reliable then the accord and civic... its pretty powerful and accelartes fast

r u guys freakin serious.
my car right now is a civic vti sohc d16. slow ass. i thought the legends was soo expensive. here in australia the 91-92 coupe v6 are at $14-16 thousand. the 94-96 acords are similar price.

so the v6 is 230 hp. where is the redline and when does the power starts cause with teh civic i have to goo all the way to 5200 to get the maximum power. and is the v6 vtec.

is that time stock. or wat. and is it manual. cause im gettin auto.. only auto. i know that i am missin out if i get auto for a honda but my whole family does auto.

okok, ima gonna ans most of the questions ni this single post.
the legends came in 2 type of engine
type I- 200 hp 210 tq
type II-230 hp 206 tq

91-95 sedan EXCEPT GS came w/ type I
93-95 Coupes came in w/ type II
95 Sedan came w/ TYPE II

the Coupe (1993) shoots to 60mph in 6.3 seconds with TCS off

the legend is NOT a vtec.

And, to piggyback off of Smartjay, NO 91-92 Legend came with the Type II engine (except mine :D)

That engine was introduced in the coupes in 1993 (all) and had the 6 speed available. Then in 1994-1995 the GS (SEDAN ONLY), had the Type II and had the optional 6 speed manual as well.

As far as what you are comparing car wise - that's apples and grapes :disappoin

Legend = luxury cruiser
Civic = econobox
Accord = intermediate

All have different features, HP, etc.

What do you really want in a car?

First, no LEGEND will have VTEC.

Second, all honda engines are reliable.

Third, no need to compare, the legend is better in evey way.

PS. No, I do not own a legend, I just love hondas. Happy shopping.
