i bought this hi-flow cat converter for my 97 Integra LS, but it did not have a slot to put the sensor back in...so right now it is hanging there. what should i do with it?

get a new cat., or get an o2 simulator.

would it be possible to have a shop put a hole for the sensor?

um.. couldn't you just drill a hole in the downpipe, weld the right size nut on and be done with it? it's just an o2 bung isn't it?

i guess it can be done, but if you can return the cat then return the cat. there are plenty of hi-flow cats that already have an o2 bung on them. there wont be a price difference and it will save you a lot of time and headaches

Drill it out yourself and take it to a tech. school, they should do it for free.Or a garage, but you might pay up to $30 for 2 min. of work.

i heard that there is 2 o2 sensors on the integra exhaust system, one in the header and one in the catalytic converter...so i have the one in the header plugged in and i also heard it is ok to only have one of the o2 sensors working/plugged in...

The downstream o2 sensor tells the pcm if your catalytic converter is working by comparing info gathered by the upstream to the info gathered by the downstream. If you think its ok then its ok but that info is needed by the pcm to determine how much fuel you really need.
