Just looking to upgrade my Radio head unit to a cd player and i also want to redo the whole audio in my '97 328i .... any one have any idea's/imput/knowledge to pass??

Collin, that is a very easy job, takes me about 15 minuites, start to finish. Buy a "Wire Harness" and any normal deck...slip in fit on the deck, wiring will match the harness color for color. have solder and heat shrink tubing at the ready, a set of metric allen wrenches, a couple of small screwdrivers...1 hour at most!
