got shaky with AC onMMSF 05-22-2004, 12:04 PM My car is a 97 with a mileage of 115k, which got shaky at a speed of 60mph with AC on recently, especially steering wheel. Things are much better with AC off. Is it a problem of throttle body? Many thanks in advance. yotatechie04 05-22-2004, 02:55 PM I really don't see how the throttle body would have anything to do with it. It might be the condition of the drivebelt, or the mounting bolts of the condenser. If you've replaced the belt yourself, maybe there isn't enough tension on it. I agree, my 96 did the same exact thing, and it was b/c of my belt... :banghead: changed it and everything runs fine! but your problem could be different yotatechie04 05-22-2004, 11:21 PM Yes, check the belt first, you might just want to go ahead and replace it too. If the problem persists afterwards, then check the mounting bolts on the condenser. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
