Turn signals...argh!geodiggr 05-22-2004, 01:40 AM Hi all, '97 Camry LE I have this quirky, aggravating little problem with my turn signals. Sometimes they will flash fast (only one at a time though) and then can go back to normal for a period of time. There is no pattern to it and it disappears as mysteriously as it occurs. The only correlation that it has sometimes is that it will stop and return to normal, sometimes, when I depress the brake pedal... I've checked and replaced all the bulbs to eliminate that potential source. I do have some problems with the remote entry and CD player, could they be related? Any suggestions? Thanks, Rick ToyotaTech 05-22-2004, 02:31 AM ok do this and it WILL fix your turn signals flashing fast. 1. take out your front turn signals, both of them 2. remove bulbs and take a small flat blade screwdriver and pry the small silver tabs inside the conector up towards u. do this on both sides of the bulbs contact points and on both sides 3. reinstall bulbs 4. no more fast flash! 5. bulbs are not making good contact with the conectors. yotatechie04 05-23-2004, 12:59 AM It could also be a sign that the relay is about to go bad, or it could also be a blown out bulb somewhere causing it to do that, so if ToyotaTech's recommendation don't work, try the two I've recommended. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
