I need a new sub or new subs. Any advice? Im looking for a good mix of spl and sql, with maybe more spl. in the range of up to $150. Thanks!!

I would suggest you check out MTX subs. I dont know if you need a box but if you have the money try the thunder series. They sound very good and are reasonably priced.

i also agree, get one shiva from www.adireaudio.com (http://www.adireaudio.com) it sells for $125 + shipping, you wire it to take a 4 ohm load, and the shiva will take all the 380rms of your amp when bridged
