A Si section should be created.
Along with a 6th generation and 7th generation.

the Admin picks out who mods are going to be. I'm sure the other mods watch for who knows there stuff and is on alot.
Being only fairly active i dont think the 92+ plus will be spilt up yet.

I asked about an 01+ Civic forum a while ago and it got shot down

there really isn't a need for an 01+ forum at this point. We have a few members with 01+ civics, but not enough to dedicate an entire forum to them.

This forum itself doesn't get as much traffic as it used to even though it is 5th, 6th and 7th gen combined. Look at the 4th gen forum, that place is hopping 24/7. If we had traffic like that I'm sure they would consider splitting it up into different parts.

but if you think about it the 7th gens are way different than the 6ths and below in terms of engine wise.. so suggestion on how to fix a 6th gen might not apply to a 7th gen... an example would be the ignition system for example... it uses direct fire, the same system used in cars such as mercedes and i think the newer vettes and mercedes. of course its just my $0.02

We need more gods, er.. mods like J Swigz who actually go through closing threads that need closed, caning newbies publicly, and basically sweep up the trash :)

that reminds me, I just got IMed by that Schecter fuck, he's stalking me now lol. Anyhow, as post whore as Kicker may be, he's more knowledgeable than a lot of people in the 92+ forum.

I almost forgot, aslong as Mod suggestions are being thrown out, JackAssi would make a great one too, but I don't see him post as much as before...same with Ricochet. Kicker, Ecko, Jackassi and Ricochet would be my top 4.

There needs to be a new mod for the forced induction forum. The last post by KrNxRaCer00 was January 15th, doesn't seem like he's doing much moderating.

I see little point in an 01+ Civic forum, sorry.

The only reason the Civic forums are so broken up is because we have a partnership with a board that specialises in EF Civic's, so they need thier own forums. The EF being in the middle means that the older ones'll need thier own forum and the post EG ones will as well.

At least that's sort of how it's going down...

"caning newbies publicly" if your moderators do that, it'd be hard to keep new users, wouldn't it?. You don't need a moderator who knows everything there is to know about a certain car to be able to judge posts and threads. All moderators do is keep peace, and hopefully keep threads mostly on course.

I'm there. I just don't get to closing threads as quickly as some people do. What we do need is someone in the Suspension/Wheel/Tire section. I thought I was mod there, but apparently not as I tried moving/closing a thread the other day.
