rio fuses

i have a 2001 kia rio and my fuel ijestor/fuel pump fuse keeps blowing!! and suggestions on where to start checking for the problem???

we have found out it happens everytime u put the key in the on position! please HELP

get to the back seat and unscrew the cover plate above the fuel pump, that would give you access to the fuel pump wiring, if nothing is wrong there follow the wiring until the fuse box, that's gonna be a tough task but most likely there is a short somewhere in the wiring...

Could be that something was installed and is sharing that line... stereo, alarm, remote starter...

If not, then you've got a wire that is rubbing on metal and shorting to ground. A short exists because of reduced resistance. When a wire touches metal, the resistance is reduced which results in increased amperage/flow. That is why the fuses blow (10 amps, 15 amps, etc)
