I wanted to know what would be a better choice for a 97 prelude base 5 speed-the jrsc or a turbo kit from greddy for example. I want it to be reliable and have a show car clean finish under the hood. I know the the h22a1 cant be boosted about about 8 psi safely under stock internals. I have no desire to build the engine and about 240 hp at the wheels is more than enough for me. Whats the better choice?

i would go with a small turbo with 6-7psi. Supercharger(Jracing) will prolly wear out the engine more. There are the turbo kits you can buy in which you can safely boost ur stock motor with stock internals. Besides turbos are much cheaper than superchargers.

Turbo chargers are always a better choice on a 4 cylinder. You will get more gains, and have more potential. Go TURBO!
