I have a '94 Honda Accord, and the passenger door sensor isn't working right. The passenger door, when closed, is secure, as well as my other three doors and the trunk, but my dashboard tells me that the passenger door is ajar. I also have to keep my dome light off because of the door sensor. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? I know that I can go to a Honda dealer and have them fix it, but they would more than likely charge me an arm and a leg. Is this something that I can do myself? Any and all help will be appreciated.

this should be easy. look around the door frame on the car, there should be a black L shaped thing. this is the sensor, you can get a new one at the dealer, or you can go to your local junkyard, good luck. let me know how this works out.
